The excellent properties of Vulkollan®, among which its high resistance to heavy loads, high temperatures and corrosive agents, make this material particularly suitable to many industrial applications.

- parts of plants for the mining and extractive sectors;

- wheels for asphalting systems;

- applications for the road maintenance sector;

- coverings for direct-current motor wheels, whose high temperatures make Vulkollan®‘s resistance to heat crucial;

- cylindrical and biconical springs for some models of jeeps and off-road vehicles;

- diaphragms and suction valve seats for paint pumps;

- wheels for bottling, labelling, packaging and filling machines. In some special cases, such as for instance for filling machines, Vulkollan® might be used to cover steel wheels.

Furthermore, in the production of jackhammers and demolition hammers, Vulkollan® has proven its distinctive characteristics of resistance against collisions and tears. This exclusive polyurethane compund is employed to manufacture springs and shock absorbers.

Finally, Vulkollan® is also used for plate punch presses, wherease the production of squeegees has fulfilled the requirements in mould printing rotary presses (rectangular contrast cutting reinforced squeegees, slicks and cogged wheels for rotary press replacements).
