 Cervellati is specialised in the production of moulded components in silicon.
The Company has recently increased the number of both its compression and injection presses, specifically dedicated to silicon components' moulding.
We can produce with four different injection presses, all fitted with separate loaders, for moulding silicone products. One press is dedicated to the production of a transparent or light-coloured Silicon, two presses for brighter-coloured Silicon and one for black Silicon.
Special Applications:
- High temperatures, which can be used up to 300 °C;
- Electrical insulation;
- FDA approval;
- High tearing strength;
- Conductive purposes.
Technical Features:
Our silicons hardnesses can vary from 10 to 90 Sh°A, while the weight of our components in silicon can range 0.2 g up to several kilos.
With our presses we can manufacture items measuring from just few millimetres or up to 850 x 850 mm.
Parts can come in a range of colours: transparent, white, black or in the RAL colour requested by the customer.
We have the capability of producing either small series of 20-50-100 pieces or large series comprising a million pieces per year.
We can supply parts with silicon-to-metal attachment (regular steel, stainless steel, aluminium, bronze).
We have a ventilated furnace dedicated to the post-vulcanization of silicon, which we usually treat to make parts in compliance with FDA standards.
